Frontier Resourcing is working in partnership with a leading Security Practice to strengthen and mature security capabilities across their Central Government Department clients. We are looking for experienced Security Architects to play a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering secure solutions for complex government programmes.

Due to the nature of work, active SC is required.

All contracts are remote with occasional on-site working (location depending on project), Outside IR35 day rates, long contracts and immediate starts.

The Role

As a Security Architect, you will take a lead role in defining and delivering security architecture for large-scale, mission-critical IT services. You’ll work across stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior leaders to ensure security is embedded end-to-end, from early design through to live service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development of security architecture and design for complex IT requirements, ensuring a smooth transition from design to live service
• Managing architectural trade-offs, balancing stakeholder needs, delivery constraints, and security outcomes
• Driving transformation through a clear security vision and architecture that guides delivery journeys
• Enabling delivery by defining appropriate methodologies, approaches, team structures, and supporting technologies across the engineering lifecycle
• Shaping security policies, principles, and standards, and aligning IT transformation to these at an organisational and enterprise level
• Ensuring full lifecycle traceability of stakeholder requirements, supporting robust project planning and simplifying complexity for senior stakeholders

Experience, Skills & Certifications

We’re looking for candidates with:

• Proven experience in a Security Architect role
• Strong cloud security experience
• A track record of supporting Central Government Departments
• One or more industry-recognised certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
