System Engineer (DV)

Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with proven experience in gathering, interpreting, and refining technical and functional requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders, adapting your communication style to suit a wide range of audiences and project contexts.

You should have a strong background in developing and implementing verification and validation strategies across complex technical programmes.

Practical knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approachesusing tools and languages such as ArchiMate , UML , or SysML is essential.

Familiarity with requirements management platforms such as IBM DOORS (or similar alternatives) is also required.

Preferred Experience

• Involvement in areas such as Defensive Cyber , Enterprise Architecture , or Secure System Design .
• A structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and drive team-wide innovation.
• Exposure to MOD architectural frameworks and delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of system security principles .
• Experience applying agile project delivery methods .
• Previous experience within a technical consultancy environment.
