Location: Office-Based
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours (09:00–17:00)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Intelligence – Power BI Report Writer to join the Finance team, supporting the organisation with impactful reporting solutions that enhance data visibility and improve decision-making across departments.
This role operates in a fast-paced, information-driven environment where timely, accurate data is key to informed decisions and operational success.
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing business intelligence solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects, SQL and other data interrogation platforms.
As the organisation transitions to Power BI as the primary reporting tool, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the new BI strategy—designing datasets, building insightful dashboards and translating complex data into clear, actionable business intelligence.
- Key ResponsibilitiesReport Construction: Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that drive business performance and meet stakeholder needs.
- Analysis: Transform data into meaningful insights that support strategic decisions.
- Request Monitoring: Manage BI requests through a ticketing system, ensuring thorough documentation and stakeholder sign-off.
- Compliance: Uphold information security protocols, ensuring all confidential reports are properly reviewed and authorised.
- Business Partnering: Promote BI adoption across the organisation by demonstrating value, training key users, and enabling self-service capabilities.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement BI system and process improvements, creating intuitive visualisations and dashboards for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Experience Essential:
- Significant experience in business reporting and BI development.
- Proven track record implementing effective reporting solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modelling.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects.
- Microsoft Power BI certification.
