IN HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL 2- 4 YRS PQE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded solicitor to join the in-house legal team of a well-established, privately owned UK business with a diverse portfolio spanning media, technology, digital products and consumer services.

Working in a small legal team of 4 you'll provide practical legal advice across a range of commercial matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data protection and technology. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting strategic business objectives while managing legal risk.

• UK qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
• Strong commercial contracts experience.
• Good knowledge of IP, data protection and consumer law.
• Commercially focused with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with AI tools and an interest in technology is desirable.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FULLY REMOTE WORKING - YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE BASED IN SCOTLAND. ONE DAY A WEEK IN THE OFFICE IS ESSENTIAL.
