Fruition are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of IT Infrastructure for an exciting permanent opportunity. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's infrastructure strategy, ensuring a secure, resilient and scalable technology estate that supports both current operations and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and deliver the organisation's IT infrastructure strategy, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives
- Lead and develop the infrastructure and database administration (DBA) teams, fostering a high-performance culture
- Oversee the operation of cloud, hybrid and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resilience and performance
- Drive infrastructure modernisation programmes, including cloud adoption, platform optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Own infrastructure architecture, standards and life cycle management across Servers, networks, storage and database platforms
- Ensure robust disaster recovery, business continuity, backup and security controls are in place and regularly tested
- Manage infrastructure budgets, cloud spend, vendor relationships and third-party service providers
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders, architecture and security teams to deliver secure, scalable and cost-effective technology solutions

Required Skills and Experience
\n
- \n
- Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure teams within a complex IT environment
- Strong background in infrastructure strategy, cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure transformation and modernisation programmes
- Good understanding of infrastructure security, resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity best practices
- Experience managing database services or leading DBA teams would be highly advantageous
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing technology budgets, suppliers and outsourcing partners
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience within a regulated environment would be beneficial
