Role: IT Operations Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 +package
Location: Leeds (Hybrid)
Fruition are currently recruiting for a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Leeds. This role requires an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and develop the IT function within a forward-thinking professional services environment. This is a key hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring systems, infrastructure and security remain robust, compliant and aligned to the wider business strategy.
You will oversee the day-to-day running of IT operations, lead a small internal team, and play a pivotal role in driving efficiencies, supporting colleagues and implementing secure, future-focused technology solutions. The position offers a strong balance of operational delivery and strategic input, with genuine opportunity to shape the technology roadmap and make a measurable impact across the business.
This opportunity would suit an experienced IT Operations Manager or senior infrastructure professional with strong technical breadth and leadership capability, ideally from a legal or professional services environment.
Please note that this role operates on a hybrid basis from the Leeds head office, with occasional travel to other office locations as required.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in an IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager or senior IT leadership role with hands-on technical responsibility
* Strong Microsoft technical background, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra and server environments
* Experience managing hybrid infrastructure, networks, telephony and wider IT operations
* Strong understanding of cyber security principles and experience managing Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation
* Experience managing third-party suppliers, contracts and IT procurement
* Experience providing second and third-line support across hardware, software, telephony and end-user systems
* Strong IT service management (ITSM) experience with the ability to drive operational improvements and best practice
* Experience managing or mentoring IT teams
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance operational delivery and strategic priorities
