Rate: Competitive, Outside IR35
Duration: 6 months initially

This is a hands on IAM engineering opportunity within a growing security function, with two major IAM projects underway.

This isn't a role where you'll simply administer an existing IAM environment. You'll sit at the centre of the IAM team, working across two key projects focused on SailPoint and Delinea. With a firm emphasis on engineering, you'll be responsible for configuring the platforms, building integrations and making sure they're properly Embedded across the wider technology estate.

You'll work closely with the IAM Lead and wider security and technology teams, with plenty of scope to take ownership of the technical delivery and make a real impact across the IAM environment.

IAM Engineer Responsibilities

• Configure and develop SailPoint and Delinea solutions.
• Integrate both platforms with existing applications, systems and identity infrastructure.
• Support and improve IAM processes across the organisation.
• Work extensively with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop and automate JML processes.
• Support identity life cycle management, access provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across IAM integrations and drive solutions through to implementation.
• Work alongside the IAM Lead and wider security teams to deliver live security projects.
• Help embed IAM capabilities into business and operational processes.

IAM Engineer Requirements

• Proven depth of experience in hands on IAM engineering.
• Deep product knowledge of SailPoint and/or Delinea, with a strong understanding of how the platforms work and how to configure them effectively.
• Experience configuring and integrating IAM platforms, rather than purely administering them.
• Strong Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID experience.
• Experience with JML automation and identity life cycle management.
• Understanding of Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management and access controls.
• Experience working across complex security or technology environments.
• A genuinely engineering focused approach, with the ability to take ownership of technical delivery.
