The purpose of your role is to drive business value by building, maintaining, and optimising the organisation's BI systems. You will manage backend datasets, pipelines, and reporting platforms, supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions, dashboards, and reports in Power BI.
• Prioritise and manage BI requests across the business, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of data solutions.
• Create clear visualisations and insights that translate complex data into actionable intelligence for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements in data workflows and reporting processes.
• Provide ad-hoc support for data engineering tasks to ensure reliability and availability of critical datasets.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in Power BI, SQL, and Python is essential.
• Experience with Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of BI engineering concepts, including data modelling, ETL, pipelines, and backend data management.
• Experience with legacy BI systems (SSIS, SSAS cubes) and troubleshooting processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical data into insights for non-technical stakeholders.
