Job Title: SC Cleared .NET Developer
Location: Leeds/Hybrid (1x day per week)
Day Rate: Competitive rate - Outside IR35
Duration: 3 months - Strong chance of extension

• Comfortable working onsite in Leeds 1 day per week

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using C#, .NET, and React
• Develop new functionality using modern .NET technologies, primarily .NET 8/9
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders
• Support and occasionally maintain Legacy VB.NET applications where required
• Contribute to technical discussions, engineering best practices, and ways of working
• Support and mentor team members within a developing engineering function
• Take a consultative approach when engaging with stakeholders and delivery teams

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET (preferably .NET 8/9)
• Proven experience developing modern Front End applications using React
• Experience working within on-premise environments
• Exposure to Legacy VB.NET codebases
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
• Experience working closely with QA teams and supporting quality-driven delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in environments where processes and structures are still evolving
