.NET Developer (12 Month FTC)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable .NET applications
• Collaborate with Product and Technical teams to deliver new features and enhancements
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical best practices
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Support continuous improvement across development processes and delivery practices

About You

We're looking for a motivated developer who combines strong technical capability with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience developing applications using the Microsoft .NET stack
• Experience with both .NET Framework and .NET 5+/.NET Core
• Strong SQL Server development skills
• Experience with Entity Framework
• Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core MVC
• HTML and CSS experience, particularly within Razor Views/Pages
• Understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns including SOLID, Clean Architecture and Onion Architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with healthcare systems or regulated environments
• Messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus or MassTransit
• Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Angular (v12+) and TypeScript
• CI/CD, build automation and release automation experience
