Software Engineer - SC Cleared - London - Hybrid - £500 to £600 per day

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a brilliant Consultancy to assist with their recruitment of a SC Cleared Software Engineer to join their team working on a large government project in London.

The successful candidate will be a skilled Software Engineer with a strong focus on hands on coding. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust, scalable applications and contributing directly to the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for public sector clients

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Work primarily with C# and JavaScript to build modern, secure systems

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet user needs

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing codebases

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software development, with a focus on coding

• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

• Experience writing and maintaining production-quality code

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience working within or delivering projects for the UK public sector

• Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools

• Understanding of secure coding practices and government standards

• Valid SC Clearance
