Data Protection Consultant

Our Financial Services consultancy are looking to grow their Data and Analytics practice with an experienced Data Protection Consultant to work with one of their clients in the banking sector. You will apply your knowledge of data privacy, retention, security and governance to help the client protect critical data assets whilst working on data protection strategies, operational improvements and the integration of ethical data practices within broader governance initiatives. Asses and enhance data control processes, tooling and operational effectiveness and contribute to defining policies, standards and guidelines for data protection and ethics. You will conduct workshops and interviews to identify data risks and link them to governance capabilities and develop strategic roadmap to operationalize scalable data protection frameworks.

For this role you will need to be on the client site in Sheffield 3 days a week and have worked within financial services previously.
