Snowflake and Python Engineer

Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced Python and Snowflake engineer to work for one of their investment banking clients. You will have extensive experience working on data engineering projects using Snowflake/AI cloud platform on AWS. As well as Python development skills using tools like VS Code or anaconda. With experience of building snowflake applications using Snowflake AI/Cortex (cortex agents, cortex search and cortex LLM with an understanding of context enrichment using prompts or retrieval-augmented-generation methods). You will need a deep understanding of OO programming in Python, data structures like Pandas, data frames and writing clean and maintainable code as well as developing and deploying applications like lambda on AWS. You will need to be on the client site 2-3 days a week and the role will be inside IR35.
