We are currently looking for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to work within our Medical Informatics division.
This position can be based in either the UK or Italy
As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist within Fujifilm's Medical Informatics business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our innovative healthcare IT solutions across Europe. These include PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), Advanced Visualization, Digital Pathology, Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), and Cloud-based product lease and solution delivery platforms.
You will work closely with product teams, solution delivery, and development teams to design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures aligned with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and Fujifilm's internal security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cybersecurity risk assessments and threat modeling for Medical Informatics products and solutions including PACS, RIS, Advanced Visualization, Digital Pathology, VNA, and Cloud services.
- Collaborate with product development and solution delivery teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including RIS development.
- Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities affecting Medical Informatics systems deployed in Europe.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical standards aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, MDR, ISO 27001, and other relevant healthcare and data protection regulations.
- Provide expert guidance and training to cross-functional teams on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration tests, and compliance reviews to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support cloud security architecture and governance, ensuring secure deployment and operational practices for cloud-based leasing and service environments.
- Work with external vendors, auditors, and regulators as required to ensure product and compliance integrity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security posture and incident response capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Extensive hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably in healthcare IT or medical device/software environments.
- Strong knowledge and experience with securing medical informatics solutions such as PACS, RIS, Advanced Visualization, Digital Pathology, VNA, and cloud services.
- Hands-on expertise with security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and Medical Device Regulations.
- Proficiency in threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), container security, and DevSecOps practices.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle security, including secure coding practices and code review.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across multiple teams and countries.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
