New Business Sales Executive - Manchester
Manchester | £40,000 + OTE | Cyber Security
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded New Business Sales Executive to join a growing cuber security services business in Central Manchester. This is a new-business-focused role suited to someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships and converting opportunities into long-term client accounts.
Role Overview
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, campaigns and market research.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers, including IT leaders, security stakeholders, legal teams, risk managers and business owners.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client risks, challenges and commercial requirements.
- Work closely with technical consultants and internal teams to shape appropriate client solutions.
- Manage prospects through the full sales cycle from initial contact to close.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be confident, proactive and target-driven, with a strong ability to open conversations and build trust with prospective clients. You will ideally have 1 year experience in B2B sales, new business development or consultative selling.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in sales, business development or lead generation.
- Strong new-business prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone, email and face-to-face skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and position relevant services.
- Commercially aware, organised and comfortable working to targets.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using a CRM system.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and operational teams.
