Senior PHP Developer (Office-Based – Milton Keynes)

We're looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our growing SaaS team, building and scaling a high-traffic platform used by leading leisure and attractions businesses across the UK and beyond.

This role is strictly office-based in Milton Keynes (hybrid considered) — collaboration, speed, and shared ownership matter to us.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining core PHP applications in a fast-moving SaaS environment
• Writing and optimising complex MySQL queries for performance and scale
• Working closely with product, support, and client-facing teams to deliver real-world solutions
• Taking ownership of features from concept through to delivery

What we're looking for

• Strong, commercial experience with PHP
• Expert-level MySQL knowledge (schema design, optimisation, performance tuning)
• Proficient with related technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Experience integrating with third-party platforms via APIs
• Experience working on large, long-lived codebases
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
• Able to work from our Milton Keynes office

Nice to have

• Server administration experience (Linux, deployments, monitoring)
• Experience with legacy systems and refactoring
• SaaS or high-transaction systems background
• Experience working with booking systems or the leisure sector

Salary & benefits

• £45,000 – £60,000, depending on experience
