What the role involves:

The prime responsibility of the specialist Field Application Engineer (sFAE) is to provide a bespoke

application support to customers with a focus on Future Electronics Franchises relevant to a dedicated product portfolio of FPGA and High End. This will require the effective positioning of product proposals, applications and design solutions to the Company's customer base. By utilizing previous design and product knowledge gained through education, experience as well as training seminars held by the Manufacturers for which the Company is franchised with the intent to unify and secure long-term commercial engagement.

The sFAE is expected to be able to adapt a "Systems Solution" approach when promoting products and solutions to Future's customers as well as being able to capture the customer application as a block diagram in Future Electronics CRM platform. By utilizing the enhanced product knowledge and application of the sFAE, the design WIN conversion of the biggest design opportunities in their region and to supply direct support to these accounts is a clear expectation to be realised.

Do you have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Degree in Electronics Engineering.

• Minimum of five years design experience either in the field or with an electronics company.

• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.

• FPGA experience.

• MPU and Embedded Solution experience.

• Embedded Linux experience preferred but optional.

• Proactive and results-driven approach.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills.

• Passionate about helping other engineers bring successful projects to market.
