The company designs and supplies control panels and BMS systems controlling boilers, pumps, air conditioning and energy usage within buildings. The Role:
- Producing detailed CAD drawings for control panels and BMS projects
- Designing control panel layouts and electrical/control schematics
- Working closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers
- Developing designs based on customer requirements and project specifications
- Making design amendments and revisions where required
- Preparing drawings for manufacture
- Ensuring designs meet project requirements and technical standards
- Liaising with engineers throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting multiple projects at different stages
The Person:
- Previous CAD Design, CAD Engineer or CAD Technician experience
- Experience within engineering, electrical, mechanical, BMS or controls environments
- Confident using CAD software
- Able to understand technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Electrical or Building Services knowledge advantageous but not essential
