Maintenance Coordinator | Manufacturing | £47,132

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a role where you can combine your hands-on engineering expertise with project management, automation and future manufacturing development?

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Coordinator to join an established manufacturing environment, where you will play a key role in introducing new technology, improving processes and supporting the future development of the operation.

What will you be involved in?

• Planning maintenance activities

• Analysing machine issues and feeding them back into the CMMS system for prevention

• Planning and introducing new manufacturing machinery and equipment

• Robotics and automation installation projects

• Process development, optimisation and continuous improvement

• Project planning, scheduling and implementation

• Managing contractors, suppliers and installation teams

• Equipment installation, commissioning and integration into production

• Engineering change management and supporting operational teams through implementation

• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and manufacturing capability

• Supporting long-term engineering and manufacturing strategy

• Providing hands-on technical engineering support where required

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who understands manufacturing from a practical, hands-on perspective, but also has the ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

You could currently be working as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer or similar, with experience in areas such as:

• Mechanical or electrical engineering

• Manufacturing processes and production equipment

• Automation and robotics

• Machinery installation and commissioning

• Engineering projects and contractor management

• Continuous improvement and process optimisation

• Project planning and implementation

An engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience is essential.

Location: Southampton

Salary: £47,132 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Permanent position
