Senior Technical Consultant - Cloud - DevOps - Architecture - Remote

Our award winning client are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join a growing consultancy practice delivering complex digital transformation and technology programmes across large organisations.

This role acts as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring architecture decisions, solutions and delivery approaches are scalable, robust and aligned with strategic objectives. You will combine technical leadership, architecture oversight and hands-on delivery support across multiple client engagements.

This position sits within a senior technical leadership team and offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy, delivery standards and consultancy growth.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery & Architecture

• Lead technical projects from initiation through to successful delivery

• Define solution architecture, technical roadmaps and delivery approaches

• Assess existing technology landscapes and design scalable solutions

• Identify delivery risks, dependencies and technical challenges across programmes

• Provide hands-on support to resolve complex technical issues where required

Stakeholder & Advisory

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic recommendations

• Support multidisciplinary teams delivering large transformation initiatives

Practice Growth

• Contribute to solution design, estimates and client proposals

• Support tenders, technical input into bids and new business opportunities

• Help shape the technical direction and growth of the consultancy practice

Technical Governance

• Establish and promote technical standards and delivery best practices

• Ensure solutions align with relevant regulatory and security frameworks

• Support initiatives around technical accreditations and compliance standards

Required Experience

• Proven experience in a technical leadership or technical consulting role

• Strong background in enterprise architecture and complex solution design

• Experience across modern technology environments including:

  • Software development

  • DevOps practices

  • Cloud infrastructure (Azure)

  • Network architecture

  • Data platforms and data management

• Experience delivering multiple complex technical projects simultaneously

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
