Algorithm Engineer – Defence/Aerospace

Join a specialist team developing advanced algorithms at the core of next-generation Autonomous Systems , Guided Weapons , and ML-enabled defence technologies .

You’ll contribute to high-impact programmes across the full engineering lifecycle — from early-stage research and feasibility studies through to development, trials, and in-service enhancement. Focus areas include navigation , guidance , tracking , sensor/data fusion , and machine learning .

Key requirements:

• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for algorithm development and simulation
• Degree or PhD in a technical discipline such as Aerospace Engineering , Control Engineering , Mathematics , or Physics
• Experience in one or more of:
• Autonomous decision-making and control systems
• Navigation , estimation , or tracking algorithms (e.g. Kalman filtering, SLAM)
• AI/ML , including real-time implementation and model validation
• Verification & validation of complex algorithms in mission-critical systems
