C# Automation Tester

We are looking for a talented Automation Tester to join our client's technology team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working in modern Agile environments. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to streamline testing processes and drive continuous improvement across our delivery workflows.

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000

Location – Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define appropriate test coverage.
  • Implement testing best practices and contribute to improving QA processes.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure test environments and data are properly prepared for automated execution.
  • Report on test progress, coverage, and overall product quality.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar QA role.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of C# and Typescript.
  • Mobile app testing experience.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Supertest).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fully remote team.
