Java SDET

Contract Java SDET – Hybrid (Swindon/London) | Inside IR35 | £400 - £425 per day

A leading technology company is seeking a skilled Java SDET to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. You’ll play a key role in shaping, planning, and delivering high-quality testing across functional and non-functional areas, ensuring releases exceed customer expectations.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute testing within Agile development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enhance QA strategies and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Manage regression testing and support timely, high-quality releases.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience testing enterprise systems with microservices or monolithic architectures.
• Strong knowledge of TDD/BDD, CI/CD, DevOps principles, and data curation.
• ISTQB Foundation certified (minimum).
• Experience or familiarity with Java, automation frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber), SQL, Linux/Unix, Jenkins, Jira/Confluence, APIs (REST/SOAP), AWS, XML/JSON.
