Software Project Lead Bristol Up to £72K + BonusOnsite roleExciting leadership role for a Software Project Lead to manage a team of 5–10 developers delivering embedded software projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You’ll utilise your Software Project leading skills to own the full software lifecycle planning, budgeting, delivery, integration, and support and work directly with stakeholders across the business and internationally.Due to the nature of the role, you will need to undergo a high level of security clearance.As the Software Project Lead, you will:

• Lead and inspire software teams to deliver complex systems
• Manage budgets, scope, and competing stakeholder requirements
• Identify opportunities for new products and maximise existing ones
• Present to leadership and international teams

The ideal Software Project Lead will have:

• Proven technical management of software teams
• Track record delivering software Projects on complex systems
• Strong problem-solving and practical approach to improvement
• Passion for building a strong team culture
• Experience of working in defence or a highly regulated environment

Any experience of any of the following is a big plus:

• Java / C++ experience
• Mission planning software knowledge
