Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer Security Clearance: Must be eligible for UK SC clearance Join a team at the forefront of defence technology in Hybrid role based out of Bristol We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to help develop and assess the core technologies that guide our missile systems. You'll work on advanced navigation sensors—like GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), anti-jam units, and Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs)—as part of high-profile, fast-moving defence projects.This role involves close collaboration with our international partners, including regular engagement with our French teams, and offers opportunities for travel and technical development.Your role will include:
- Specifying and assessing GNSS receivers, CRPAs, and IMUs
- Monitoring supplier tech roadmaps and supporting equipment trials
- Contributing to multi-national research programmes and innovation initiatives
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar
- Background in defence, aerospace, navigation, or RF systems
- Project delivery experience and knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. MATLAB)
- Understanding of GNSS functionality, anti-jam tech, and inertial sensors
