The roleWe are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to drive the reliability, performance, resilience and security of our network and network security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities of the role include: Owning the operational performance, stability, availability and security posture of network and network security platforms end to endEnhancing observability across telemetry, alerting and performance monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and ThousandEyes to enable proactive operationsImplementing and maintaining scalable, resilient datacentre network infrastructure built on Cisco and Arista technologiesChampioning automation of operational tasks using Python, Ansible, Jinja2 and GitSupporting and extending Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices for network provisioningOwning break/fix and incident response for complex enterprise and campus network issuesDriving incident management practices, including on-call rotation, escalation procedures, postmortems and root-cause analysisImplementing and managing WAN CEs, with knowledge of MPLS or Segment RoutingWho are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Strong background as a Network Engineer in enterprise or large-scale environmentsExperience applying SRE, observability and automation principles to networking, using technologies such as Python, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Ansible and JenkinsExperience with Cisco and Arista switching and routing, alongside network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS and network segmentationExpertise in Cisco and Arista platforms, including IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS and EOSIn-depth understanding and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN and MPLSExperience with network monitoring tools and predictive analysis systemsWhy should you apply?
