Are you an experienced Property Paralegal/Case Handler with specific experience in home ownership matters looking to join a law firm that that can provide genuine progression prospects, technical work along with genuine flexibility to work mostly from home?

The role

This reputable Legal 500 law firm in Birmingham is seeking a specialist in home ownership matters to carry a caseload for Registered Providers of Social Housing, handling matters from instruction through to completion under supervision. The role offers varied, client-focused work within a specialist property practice

The role will involve a varied range of home ownership and residential property matters, including:

  • Shared ownership staircasing and final staircasing transactions
  • Lease extensions
  • Buyback transactions
  • Deeds of variation and deeds of covenant
  • Lease surrender and regrant arrangements
  • Residential enfranchisement matters
  • Auction sales

About You

The ideal candidate will have specific home ownership experience and be confident managing a varied caseload.

The firm is looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A good understanding of conveyancing risk, regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
