Conveyancing Paralegal – Wolverhampton

A well-established and respected law firm with a long-standing presence in Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands is seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Paralegal or NQ Solicitor to join its busy Residential Conveyancing Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual looking to further their career within a supportive and traditional legal environment handling high-quality residential property matters.

The Role

You will provide support to the Residential Conveyancing team on a broad range of property transactions from instruction through to post-completion or for an NQ handling your own matters from the outset with supervision.

The role will involve regular communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties, ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting solicitors and fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
  • Managing files for sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Conducting searches and reviewing title documents
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
  • Maintaining accurate case management records
  • Opening and closing files in accordance with compliance procedures
  • Providing administrative support to the conveyancing department
  • Ensuring excellent client service throughout the transaction process

Candidate Requirements

You will have:

  • Previous experience within a residential conveyancing department
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • The ability to manage a busy workload effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems
