An established and highly regarded law firm in Torquay is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its respected Private Client team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with experience in Care & Capacity, Mental Capacity Law or Court of Protection work who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm.

The Role

You will manage your own varied caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues and Partners. Your work will include:

• Advising vulnerable clients and their families on Mental Capacity matters
• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Managing Deputyship applications through the Court of Protection
• Representing clients in Court of Protection proceedings
• Advising on health and welfare issues, safeguarding and financial management
• Delivering clear, compassionate legal advice tailored to individual client needs
• Building long-term relationships with clients, families and professional contacts

About You

Applications are welcomed from:

• Qualified Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives (CILEx)
• Lawyers with experience in Court of Protection, Care & Capacity or Mental Capacity work
• Newly Qualified Solicitors looking to specialise in this rewarding area of Private Client law
