Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel – Legal Business Operations Location: Central London  – 3 days/week in office (non-negotiable) Duration: 3 - 6 months (Full-time, 40 hours/week)

This leading Technology Company is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal Business Operations team  on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional with strong operational and project management skills to support a high-impact global initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the roll-out of the Global Master Retention Agreement (GMRA) across EMEA and APAC firms
• Project manage the GMRA process: maintain trackers, update playbooks and research local laws
• Assist with EMEA Panel relationship management
• Revamp internal hub sites and build databases 
• Create playbooks, process flows and visualisations for internal workflows
• Provide reporting and management information (MI) for leadership
• Offer ad hoc support to the regional Legal teams

Your Profile:

• Legally qualified in the UK (other European qualifications considered)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial contracts, legal operations and change/process management
• Prior experience in in-house legal departments or law firms
• Strong knowledge of EMEA and APAC laws
• Advanced user of relevant software systems
• Experience working with US-based companies and global stakeholders

Please Note:

• This is a full-time role with 3 mandatory office days per week in Central London 
• Remote work is not possible due to the nature of the role
