Commissioning Manager (Data Centre)

One of my Italian clients are currently looking for a freelance Commissioning Manager to assist on their existing Data Centre projects based in Milan.

Role Title: Commissioning Manager

Locations: Milan (Italy)

Contract length: Ongoing due to multiple projects.

Languages: English

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full commissioning process from Level 1 through Level 5.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and strategies.
• Lead commissioning meetings with contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
• Oversee the performance of integrated systems testing (IST) and ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
• Track progress and maintain documentation including commissioning logs, reports, and punch lists.
• Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution with minimal impact to project timelines.
• Ensure safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards are met throughout the commissioning lifecycle.
• Provide leadership, direction, and technical expertise to site teams and third-party vendors.
