ERP Application Analyst Level 2Location: Southampton, office basedHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pmSalary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experienceExcellent BenefitsAll applicants must have right to work in the UK, Garmin do not offer sponsorship.
Purpose of the role;Gathers and documents detailed requirements and collaborates with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs. Identifies advanced test scenarios and tests customizations and configurations.
Key duties & responsibilities;The Role will be primarily ERP financials related with a good understanding of the integration into other areas of ERP systems and within Oracle.
Support Garmin Finance (Global) GL AR AP & FA (Knowledge of EB Tax, Cash Management and Sub ledgers would be an advantage).Configure, test, implement and support Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applicationsGathers and documents detailed requirements for business needs and collaborates with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designsDemonstrates a detailed understanding and execution of the software development lifecycleDemonstrates proficiency with troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to perform moderately complex troubleshootingIdentifies interdependencies in programsIdentifies more advanced test scenarios and adequately tests customizations and configurationsResponsible for planning small/medium sized projects or tasksMakes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals/objectivesProvides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques including ability to find root cause and corrective action for given problemsServe as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts (Application Analyst 1)Demonstrates proficient use and knowledge of established standards and proceduresConsistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organizationUnderstands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutionsSupports application maintenance activities including patching and versioning updatesParticipates in incident management and corrective actionsCollaborate directly with co-located and remote team members and business clientsUnderstands change is important and adapts wellWelcomes constructive feedback as an opportunity to improveProfessionally approaches situations in which conflict is presentApplies Garmins Mission Statement and Quality Policy and exhibits enthusiasm for and a desire to see Garmin succeedEducation & ExperienceBachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceDemonstrated ability to apply learned knowledgeDemonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutionsExperience with one or more of the following module suites: Financials (GL, AP, AR), Discrete Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, Cost, PO), Supply Chain (Order Management, Shipping, WMS), Advanced Planning (ASCP, DP, MRP), CRM (Depot Repair, Install Base, Service Contracts),Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patchesExperience with PL/SQL(Programming Language/Structured Query Language)Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.)Experience with Oracle Demantra, Oracle AgilePLM, Kewill Flagship, Management Dynamics Trade Automation applicationsDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
