3 months contract to start with (Inside IR35)
Doncaster (2 days onsite every week)
3 to 7 years experience
Essential:
- 3+ years of proven professional experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or any other relevant technical field, preferably using Power BI
- Knowledge of data modelling, OLAP and ETL frameworks
- Strong relational database and SQL experience (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI or Qlik)
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Excellent relationship builder
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make recommendations based on complex multilevel data
- Capable of managing a broad range of projects and activities
Key Accountabilities
- Hands-on development of reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify and develop solutions to business problems and challenges, translating business needs to technical specifications and solutions.
- Hands-on development of metrics, reporting, dashboards and analytics to drive key business decisions; reporting on results in a manner which is both statistically rigorous and compellingly relevant.
- Maintenance and optimisation of the BI content catalogue to ensure optimal user experience and strong engagement from the business.
- Presentation of results to key stakeholders, articulating key trends and insights.
- Development and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Championing data quality and the use of data to drive business improvement and decision making.
- Recognise and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, validation, analysis and visualization.
