Network Security Engineer (AlgoSec)

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong AlgoSec and enterprise Firewall experience to join a growing security team.

This is a hands-on role focused on Firewall policy management, security governance, automation and compliance across complex multi-vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support AlgoSec Security Management Suite.
• Manage Firewall policy reviews, optimisation, risk analysis.
• Support FireFlow, Firewall Analyser, ObjectFlow and AppViz.
• Analyse application connectivity and network traffic flows.
• Manage Firewall changes, exceptions and security incidents.
• Automate security processes using Scripting and REST APIs.
• Support security governance, audit and compliance activities.
• Work with infrastructure, security and engineering stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on AlgoSec experience.
• Extensive enterprise Firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower and/or Check Point.
• Strong knowledge of Firewall administration, NAT, VPN, segmentation and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with security governance, compliance and ITIL processes.
• Strong Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Experience with REST APIs and automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
