Sales Director
Sales Director – Cyber / Fraud Data Intelligence
London | Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite | New Business / GTM Strategy | No Sponsorship
We’re looking for a strong new business salesperson to help grow the cyber/fraud side of an established data intelligence business. This is not an account management role or a ready-made patch. The right person will help work out where the best opportunities are, build pipeline from scratch, and create momentum in a market the business sees as a major growth area.
They company helps customers use IP intelligence, geolocation, VPN/proxy detection and digital risk data to make better decisions around fraud, security, trust and online activity. It is a value-led enterprise sales role. You will need to dig into the customer’s problem, understand where the data can make a real commercial difference, and build the value case before getting into pricing and negotiation.
Key responsibilities
- Greenfield pipeline: Build new-business pipeline across cyber, fraud, fintech, payments, gambling, gaming, risk and compliance markets.
- GTM strategy: Help shape the go-to-market approach, including target verticals, use cases, buying triggers, events and priority accounts.
- Commercial value: Identify where the company’s data creates the strongest value and turn that into clear customer propositions.
- Enterprise selling: Sell into larger accounts with stakeholders across fraud, risk, compliance, security, product, engineering and commercial teams.
- Discovery-led sales: Understand the customer’s problem, technical fit, commercial impact and buying process before moving into solution and pricing.
- Full sales cycle: Manage the process from prospecting and qualification through to pricing, negotiation and close.
- Revenue ownership: Take responsibility for pipeline quality, forecasting and revenue delivery.
Experience needed
- New business / enterprise sales: Strong background opening new accounts and creating pipeline from scratch.
- Relevant product experience: Experience selling complex data, software, API, SaaS, intelligence, fraud/risk or cyber-adjacent solutions.
- Relevant markets: Backgrounds could include cyber security, fraud prevention, payments, fintech, identity, gambling, gaming, risk data, geolocation, threat intelligence, verification data or digital risk.
- Consultative / challenger selling: Comfortable asking sharp questions, challenging thinking and selling value before price.
- Strategic but hands-on: Able to help shape the market, while still being willing to prospect, open doors and create momentum.
- Commercial maturity: Credible with senior stakeholders and able to turn technical data products into clear business value.
- Smaller business fit: Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with less handholding, more ownership and room to bring ideas.
This would suit someone who is still in build mode: hands-on, hungry, commercially sharp and capable of helping shape an international cyber/fraud sales strategy while also delivering pipeline and revenue.
