We're supporting a leading organisation operating within the UK as they continue to invest in strengthening their cyber resilience capabilities.
We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale cyber resilience and backup solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major transformation programme, helping to protect both IT and operational environments against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cyber resilience and backup architectures across enterprise environments.
- Develop secure backup and recovery strategies for both IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Architect ransomware protection, immutable backup and cyber recovery solutions.
- Define disaster recovery and business continuity strategies aligned to business requirements.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud and cyber security teams to deliver resilient hybrid environments.
- Conduct cyber resilience assessments, threat modelling and recovery planning.
- Support cyber recovery testing and resilience exercises.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple workstreams.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, engineering teams and third-party technology partners.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution or Security Architect within cyber security or enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Rubrik
- Cohesity
- Veeam (Immutable Backup)
- Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery
- Experience designing cyber resilience and ransomware recovery solutions.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
- Experience with enterprise security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR and IAM/PAM.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience working within highly regulated sectors.
- Exposure to OT / ICS environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, TOGAF or Azure/AWS Architecture certifications.
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
