UX Designer - AI enabled - contract

UX/Product Designer - AI enabled Design

Contract

Overview

We're seeking a modern, digitally-minded designer who actively uses AI and automation to enhance their design practice. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where emerging tools, rapid experimentation, and high-quality design craft are fully encouraged.

The Role

You'll be working end-to-end across discovery, design, and iteration, using AI-enabled workflows to move faster and explore more confidently. This role suits a designer who sees AI as a practical accelerator for better outcomes, not a replacement for strong judgement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use AI tools to accelerate user research synthesis and insight clustering
  • Rapidly generate and explore UI, interaction, and flow concepts
  • Support information architecture exploration and design decision-making
  • Automate elements of design documentation and design system outputs
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to speed up design iteration and prototyping
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a UX, Product, or Interaction Designer
  • Hands-on use of AI tools within a real design workflow
  • Excellent design judgement, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Experience working in agile, product-led teams
  • Ability to balance speed, experimentation, and design quality

Nice to Have

  • Experience experimenting with emerging AI or agentic design workflows
  • Design system experience
  • Background in complex digital products or platforms

Why Apply

This is a chance to work in an environment that genuinely embraces modern design practices, values experimentation, and empowers designers to work smarter using AI - while still delivering high-quality, well-crafted design.
