If so, I’m currently supporting a leading UK platform as they continue to strengthen their cyber security capability and are looking to bring in a Security Operations Team Manager🤌

Security is absolutely critical to what they do and as the platform continues to scale, they’re investing heavily in modern security operations, threat detection and response capabilities.

They’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on security operations environment, leading incident response and helping shape how security monitoring and threat detection is delivered across the organisation!

This is a role where you won’t just monitor alerts... You’ll be leading the SecOps function, influencing strategy and helping protect a platform used by hundreds of thousands of people 🙌

What you'll be doing

🔐 Leading the Security Operations team and helping shape the organisation’s threat detection capability

🚨 Owning the incident response process, from investigation through to resolution and lessons learned

📊 Driving improvements across SIEM monitoring, threat intelligence and security reporting

🛡 Working with modern security tooling including SIEM and EDR solutions

🧠 Proactively identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities across systems and networks

🤝 Collaborating across engineering, infrastructure and security teams to strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture

What they’re looking for

✔ Strong background in Security Operations and/ or SOC environments

✔ Experience working with SIEM platforms

✔ Hands on experience responding to security incidents and investigating threats

✔ Knowledge of endpoint detection tools (EDR) and security monitoring

✔ Understanding of network security, malware threats and attack frameworks

✔ Someone who enjoys leading teams and driving improvements in security operations
