Senior Software Engineer

Senior .NET Developer - £75k - Leeds monthly - Global SaaS tech house

After building a revolutionary platform across the world, this digital platform is now transforming the UK market, making everything in their industry faster, smarter, and fully digital.

We’re scaling a senior-heavy engineering team, and we’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer to help build and evolve a market-leading digital platform.

What you’ll do:

• Own end-to-end features across both legacy and modern .NET systems (roughly 70/30 split), including macro and microservices
• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy, driving decisions on technology, frameworks, and system design
• Work with SQL Server and Cosmos DB backends, ensuring high performance and maintainability
• Support teams using .NET 8–10, Blazor, MVC and modern front-end frameworks
• Implement robust testing practices, including unit, integration, and performance tests
• Apply shift-left security and performance best practices throughout development
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and support career progression across the team
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and UX teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions

Team & Culture:

• Small, experienced squads (4–6 developers + QA)
• Autonomous, senior-heavy teams with clear progression paths to Tech Lead or Principal roles
• Hybrid setup: ~2 days in-office/month, optional monthly collab days
• AI tools used thoughtfully to enhance productivity

Who you are:

• Advanced experience in C# and .NET (backend or full-stack)
• Comfortable with legacy and modern .NET systems
• Knowledge of microservices, API design, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Blazor is a plus
• Hands-on with cloud environments (Azure), containerization, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving, mentoring, and communication skills
