Automation & DevOps Engineer - (IBM Z/Mainframe Technologies)

We are Automation & DevOps Engineer - (IBM Z/Mainframe Technologies)
Location: Sheffield - Hybrid/3 days Per week in Office

• Hands-on Python development experience, including modular design, error handling, logging, testing, and production-quality coding practices.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience covering schema design, query optimisation, performance tuning, and operational data management.
• Proficiency in Git and Git-based development and CI/CD practices.
• Enterprise-scale Ansible automation experience using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Experience designing Grafana dashboards and interpreting operational metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Nexus Repository or equivalent artefact management tools.
• Experience integrating HashiCorp Vault with automation and CI/CD workflows.
• Exposure to IBM Z/Mainframe environments and z/OS job execution patterns is advantageous.
