Private Cloud Architect - Banking Experience

We are hiring for Private Cloud Architect - Banking Experience
Location: Sheffield - Hybrid/3 days Per week in Office

• Proven experience as a Senior Architect, Lead Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer or equivalent within large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong experience in Private Cloud/Platform Engineering.

Deep expertise in at least two of the following:

• Virtualisation - VMware or equivalent technologies.
• Kubernetes & Containers - cluster operations, networking, upgrades, multi-tenancy and policy.
• Kafka/Event Streaming - architecture, operations, governance, resilience and security.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, scalability, performance tuning, fault tolerance and capacity planning.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
• Strong focus on security, risk management, production readiness and operational excellence.
