Salary: £145,000 - £165,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits and bonus

Head of Internal Audit - About the role

This is a newly created role and working closely with the CFO and senior management, the Head of Internal Audit will take overall responsibility for building, and developing a best in class internal audit function. As the company continues to grow you will play a key role in strengthening the company's internal audit, risk management and governance processes, Partnering with all areas of the business you will deliver independent. objective assurance and advisory services that promote operational excellence. Duties will include:

• Overseeing the smooth running of the entire internal audit function
• Develop and implement a risk based audit plan covering financial, operational, compliance and IT risks
• Lead and execute end to end audits
• Identify process improvements and implement practical solutions
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the performance of the Internal Audit Function
• Ad hoc strategic tasks as delegated by the CFO

Head of Internal Audit - Candidate requirements

This role requires an experienced finance professional, Internal Audit Director / Manager who can operate strategically and hands on.

• Degree educated, and a qualified ACA, CPA, CIA or ACCA with at least 10 years PQ and an international mindset
• 10years + of proven finance experience within a rapid growth business and within an international environment
• Experience in the technology, ecommerce or software develop sectors is highly advantageous
• Previous experience of working in a high profile international internal audit department
• Excellent knowledge of risk management frameworks, audit methodologies and corporate governance
• Successful track record of career development
• An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality and a commercial mindset
• A strong communicator who has the ability to implement and influence change at all levels.
• German or French language skills are advantageous but NOT ESSENTIAL
• Previous line management experience
