Sales Specialist – Connectivity
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 + 50% OTE
The RoleWe are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced Sales Specialist – Connectivity.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established technology solutions provider in an overlay sales role, working alongside a team of Account Managers to identify, qualify and develop opportunities across their Connectivity and Managed Services portfolio.
Our client is looking for a commercially driven sales professional who can act as the connectivity subject matter expert, supporting customer engagements, shaping solutions and helping drive growth across both existing customer accounts and selected new business opportunities.
If you have experience selling WAN, SD-WAN, Ethernet, SIP, Hosted Voice and Managed Connectivity through an MSP, ISP or technology reseller, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Support Account Managers in identifying and developing connectivity opportunities across existing customer accounts.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their business and technical requirements.
- Recommend and position connectivity and managed service solutions that meet customer needs.
- Work closely with Pre-Sales and Technical Consultants to develop solution proposals and quotations.
- Act as the connectivity subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Deliver customer presentations, workshops and solution overviews.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and carrier partners.
- Help grow revenue across the existing customer base while supporting selected new business opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the UK connectivity market, emerging technologies and industry trends.
You'll be an experienced technology sales professional with a strong background in connectivity solutions and a consultative approach to customer engagement.
You'll ideally have experience working for an MSP, ISP, telecoms provider or technology reseller and be confident supporting Account Managers with solution positioning and customer meetings.
You'll have experience selling solutions such as:
- WAN / SD-WAN
- Ethernet & Leased Lines
- SIP Trunks
- Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)
- Hosted Voice
- Managed Connectivity
- Managed Network Services
Experience selling carrier connectivity solutions through providers such as FluidOne, Claranet, Gamma, Vodafone Business, BT Wholesale, or similar organisations would be highly advantageous.
