Overview

As a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable business insights that drive strategic decisions. You will gather, analyse, and interpret complex datasets across multiple business functions to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Your analytical skills and ability to communicate insights clearly will support teams in optimising business performance and delivering value to stakeholders.

The role

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various internal and external sources to generate actionable business insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights.
  • Perform market, competitor, and customer behaviour analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support data governance and ensure data quality and accuracy in all analyses.
  • Assist in designing and conducting surveys, experiments, or other data collection methods as required.
  • Provide recommendations based on data insights to improve business processes and outcomes.

You’ll bring

  • Professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or insights roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience using statistical tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience within the energy sector, particularly EV charging infrastructure desirable.
  • A/B testing or experimentation experience desirable.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear and concise insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively around ad-hoc analysis and urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform and consuming API data sources would be beneficial.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications in data analytics or business intelligence (e.g., Microsoft
