Rate: Umbrella up to £750 per day

Role Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team to deliver analysis that supports both user and business needs.

You will explore how the organisation operates across people, processes, data, and technology—identifying improvements and helping shape effective, scalable services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to understand current services and operating models
  • Identify service gaps, improvement opportunities, and define success measures
  • Work closely with stakeholders including policy, legal, and operational teams
  • Translate business and user needs into clear requirements
  • Support the design, development, and testing of services and business change
  • Ensure solutions align with organisational goals and user needs
  • Assess business and policy constraints and their implications
  • Contribute to the development of operating models and business capabilities
  • Advise on approaches to analyse and resolve complex challenges

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst in a digital environment
  • Strong experience working in Agile teams
  • Ability to operate with minimal direction and drive outcomes independently
  • Proven experience identifying and resolving complex business issues
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to understand and assess policy and business constraints
  • Experience supporting or contributing to communities of practice
