Here at GXO, Inteq are on a mission to become the leading Tier 2 provider of warehouse automation solutions globally. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our success by driving revenue growth and delivering tailored automation solutions to some of the biggest names in eCommerce, retail, and logistics.

This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:30. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £70,000, depending on experience, plus a company bonus scheme and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme and private medical cover.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across key sectors such as eCommerce, 3PL, and manufacturing
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior decision-makers to understand their automation needs
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with technical and design teams to create bespoke solutions that deliver maximum ROI
  • Represent Invar Group at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex, high-value solution sales
  • Strong experience managing multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and long sales cycles (6–24+ months)
  • Deep understanding of warehouse automation technologies, including WMS, WCS, robotics, and software solutions
  • Ability to present compelling value propositions and negotiate deals that balance CapEx and OpEx models
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad to meet clients and attend events
