Youll lead the inventory function and oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring stock accuracy, system integrity, and operational efficiency. Youll play a key role in driving continuous improvement while leading and developing your team in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 till 22:00.Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What youll do on a typical day:Managing inventory operations, including cycle counts (PI), stock accuracy, and system integrityLeading and developing a team, providing feedback, training, and performance supportMonitoring WMS performance and identifying/reporting any stock or system issuesPlanning labour, shifts, and workloads to meet operational demand and budgetDriving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving inventory discrepanciesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse or logistics environmentStrong knowledge of stock control processes and inventory managementGood understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder)Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft ExcelA proactive, detail-focused individual with strong problem-solving skillsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.TPBN1_UKTJ
