MI Analyst

Looking to take ownership of both MI and Transport Management Systems in a fast-paced logistics environment?

GXO are currently looking for an MI Analyst to join us at our B&Q site in Worksop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality management information, while acting as a subject matter expert for our Transport Management Systems, including Microlise and Bringg. You’ll play a key role in supporting transport operations through data-led insight, system optimisation, and continuous improvement, working closely with operational stakeholders across the site.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working 07:30 – 15:30 on any 5 from 7 shift pattern.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Produce and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly MI reports to support operational and senior stakeholders
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate into actionable insight
  • Create clear visualisations and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
  • Act as SME for Bringg and Microlise, supporting optimisation, configuration, and issue resolution
  • Support routing, telematics, and transport performance, ensuring efficiency and service delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems, and operational performance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and turning data into insight
  • Strong analytical skills with an inquisitive, problem-solving mindset
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI capability
  • Experience with Transport Management Systems (e.g. Bringg, Microlise or similar)
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
