Test Analyst

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Test Analyst to join our IT function supporting our operations in Sherburn (Leeds). This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability and performance of systems delivered across multiple sites and customers.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Design, build and execute comprehensive test plans and test scripts across multiple systems, ensuring robust validation of functionality, performance and user requirements
- Manage the full testing lifecycle, including test preparation, execution, defect identification, tracking and resolution, ensuring all issues are clearly documented and addressed
- Collaborate closely with project teams, developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and translated into effective testing strategies
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing and early life support, ensuring smooth implementation of new systems, enhancements and fixes
- Monitor testing progress, provide clear reporting and identify opportunities to improve processes, quality standards and overall testing efficiency
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a Test Analyst or software testing role, ideally within a logistics, supply chain or multi-system environment
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, defect management and reporting
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar operational systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret requirements and design effective test scenarios
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
