Commissioning Engineer for Gas Telemetry

A well-established, small, friendly IT support and services company based in Worcestershire are seeking a Commissioning Engineer for Gas Telemetry to join their growing, friendly team.  This is a permanent, hybrid position that offers a 4 day week. Working mostly with 2 days a week from home. There will be travelling to different Gas sites around the UK. You must be eligible to work in the UK.  

Hours: Core hours Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm
Salary Range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

Responsibilities to include:
• To create configurations for telemetry sites on the Gas Network
• To test configurations through WAT, FAT, SAT testing
• To fault find telemetry hardware and software
• To assemble hardware when required
• To communicate regularly with the team and clients when required
• To adhere to the company’s quality standards
• To work in line with the Health and Safety requirements

Requiremenets:
• Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of the gas network and working on gas sites
• Some hands on knowledge of computing and programming
• Experience of fault finding and testing environments
• Delivery of engineering projects preferable within the Utilities industry
• Clear understanding of risk management principles and tools
• Clear understanding of HSE regulations relevant to role
• Knowledge of engineering standards
• Access to own vehicle and UK Driving Licence
